So, as we move towards our new unique Paint Party options in 2022, we hope to inspire you to try something new this year! All artistic mediums offer the therapeutic benefits of doing art, which I’ve talked about previously- as well as the benefits of being social, after years of isolation. The one thing I love about art is that it is limitless in the mediums you can use and infinite with the ideas, ways, and directions it can go on. While we expand doing more “Arts and Craft Parties,” than just Paint Parties, we aren’t quite ready to change our name yet, but perhaps in the future! I love the challenge of coming up with something new and different, and welcome the opportunity to try it out on a new crowd at a party. In fact, I implore customers to come to me with their unique ideas. Essentially our Paint Party business has become “CT Art & Craft Parties” these days, as there isn’t a medium I can think of that we would turn down. Next up this year, we will be experimenting with adding wood burning, calligraphy, and ceramics to our menu. We did mandala rock paintings for the first time, LED glass lanterns, and decoupage. This past year we tried even more new mediums. In 2020 we added wooden signs and glass projects to our menu, in addition to the traditional canvas painting parties. More competition in the traveling drink and paint business, means keeping up with the local trends. In fact, Muse Paint Bar, the leading paint and sip store in Connecticut, recently went out of business in Glastonbury, CT. Years ago there were more brick-and- mortar Paint and Sip stores than mobile businesses, but times have changed. The traveling Paint and Sip businesses have been popping up everywhere since Covid. We go into 2022 optimistically, hopeful we will have continued success as we plan to try out even more Art mediums at our Paint Parties. As we say goodbye 2021, we reflect on the good times, new friendships made, and the new things we tried out this year.
